When using this feature, merchants upload a file directly into the payment gateway, eliminating the repetitive and time-consuming process of sending each transaction individually. When Free Merchant Terminal receives the batch file, we make a single call to the network to get approvals on all the transactions at once. Authorization is easy, as two files are returned to the merchant: one with all the approvals, and one with any declined transactions.
